I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!
Also, when you're marking articles for speedy deletion, please don't blank them. We the admins have to be able to see what the previous content was.
That article on Tankers (with faces), although ineptly done and largely empty of content, was in fact not gibberish. It's a Thomas the Tank Engine ref. DS 15:05, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

- Thanks for the heads-up regarding Thomas the Tank Engine. As far as I know, I haven't intentionally blanked any articles, though I have been listing quite a few for speedy deletion recently. Thanks for the welcome and the info! Modular 15:11, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

- Also, thanks for starting my Talk Page. Modular 15:23, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Rick Santorum
You should not call material which is subject to a content dispute vandalism. In this case, the addition is being actively debated on Talk:Rick Santorum. This s edit warring rather than vandalism, and instead of simply removing the material you should participate in the debate on the talk page and try to provide reasonable criteria for why the material should be removed. - Ah, my bad. Sorry about that, I sort of assumed it was vandalism. I think I'm going to have to tone down my ruthlessness... Modular 15:15, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

-
- Sorry if I came across a little harshly. I'm not convinced that it should be in the article, but I get the feeling that the people who want it out are mostly concerned with appearances. Still, I should assume good faith on their part - so I am just watching the debate, for now. Keep up the good work fighting vandals. Guettarda 18:08, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

- No problem! I was on quite a vandalism-deleting rampage at the time. Edits by unregistered users involving fecal matter and politicians do come across quite strongly as vandalism, I'm sure you'll agree. Happy Halloween. Modular. (Talk.) 15:59, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The Barbara K. Olson edit
I do not mind that you changed the "strong view" comment "which is the only evidence what so ever that this event happened the way described on this page" even though IF YOU LOOK at the "reasoning" it ONLY defends the article by "These theories do not account for the above mentioned in-flight calls made by the passanger to her loved one describing the hijacking.".
What I DO MIND about your edit is that Barbara K. Olson is A PERSON. ONE PERSON. She IS NOT personS. There is only ONE of her. Even if she has a splitt personallity, that does not count. That does not make her passengerS. It makes her A PASSENGER. ONE. Only one. Please do not revert that edit unless you can give a extremely good reason how and why Barbara K. Olson is more than one person.

- OK, I'm not an expert on what happened on Flight 77, and it seemed that the edits to that section were just there to support the conspiracy theory. I also assumed that the previous version of the article was correct in that section. Put back what you wrote about Barbara K. Oslon if you wish, but I'd like to see some evidence that she was the only person to make a phone call about hijacking. Again, I'm not an expert. Modular. (Talk.) 15:46, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

- I direct you to Talk:American Airlines Flight 77, where Quadell has posted extracts from the 9/11 commission report, which debunk your theory. Modular. (Talk.) 18:16, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Sandra Theunick deletion
You added this to the deletion list, but it doesn't exist. Is there a typo? Dalbury 16:40, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
-
- According to Paolo Liberatore: "Apparently, the article has been tagged speedy and deleted two minutes after it was listed." Either that, or I did make a typo. Thanks for stopping by. Modular. (Talk.) 18:14, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Not Wikirelated
But! My mom's maiden name is Ferguson and her mom recently found distant relatives living in Ireland. Perhaps we're genetically related? IM me or something, since this isn't really Wikipedia related. Hur hur, puns intended. Zanturaeon 00:27, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Reminder..
When using template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. — Ian Manka Talk to me‼ 21:44, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
