Sony BMG Germany writes about the twins Indiggo: „Germany is proud when the twins Gabriela and Michaela are in the country. There is no wonder ! The 22 year-old twin-sisters, named INDIGGO, do not only look like international models, but are also plentifully blessed with musical talent.”
Dieter Bohlen from Modern Talking, the most successful German music producer, proudly states in the most popular German newspaper BILD about the twins Indiggo:
“A lot of sex-appeal, sensational voices and a double strong will to succeed. I have seen lots of young artists in this music-biz, but not even 3% have got their enthusiasm.”
Indiggo, the 22 year-old identical twins born under the sign of Gemini –sing, dance, were introduced to music at the very early age of 6 and have been taking canto, piano and dancing lessons ever since then, write music and lyrics ( Michaela recently released her first volume of poetry of 246 pages, partly translated in English by Gabriela), are actresses (they graduated the National University of Drama and Film in Bucharest, attended acting courses in Cologne – Germany, have been playing in 3 musicals – the lead parts in the musical “The Two Orphans” at Casandra Theatre in Bucharest which was awarded the best play 2006, they shot in the English-American movie “Van Wilder”), paint, make modeling, speak English very well.
On March 10th 2006, the twins had the release of their new CD “Be My Boyfriend” at Sony BMG Germany ( http://www.amazon.de, http://www.amazon.com ), produced by the pop-titan Dieter Bohlen from Modern Talking, composer of many international singers ( Bonnie Tyler, Chris Norman, C.C.Catch, Erol Brown, Nino de Angelo, etc ), founder of the mega-seller group Modern Talking (over 160 millions CDs sold ).
Indiggo are supported by the most important, popular German and European newspaper BILD. The twins had shows and interviews on most important German TV stations (RTL, Super RTL, Pro7, SAT 1, ZDF, VIVA… )
The twins first Europe-wide single “Hip Hop Jam”, a very catchy Latino song with Cuban influences was produced by David Brandes (producer of success acts such as Chris Norman, E-Rotic, Bad Boys Blue ), making the top charts in several countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland ), performed on top shows of the most important German TV stations ( RTL, RTL II, Super RTL, ZDF, VIVA, MDR, WDR, SAT1, ) along by the most well known artists of the moment. Indiggo’s latino song has been featured on numerous compilations throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Estonia, etc. along with songs of famous artists such as Geri Halliwell, DJ Bobo, Culture Beat, Scooter, Sarah Connor, Modern Talking, No Angels, Nena,….
Michaela and Gabriela’s first album came out in Romania at Media Pro Music and brought the twins great popularity within the Romanian music industry.
They have been nicknamed by the German and Romanian press as “Double Marvel Voices” (Express), “Lolitas from Dracula Land” (Popcorn), “Sensational voices” (BILD), “The new Kessler Twins” (Express), “Indiggo-firework full of live, erotism and talent” (BILD), “The fulminant debut of Modorcea’s Sisters, the first twin-actresses from Romania” (Tricolorul ).
