[edit] Rewrite

I had a go at rewriting this article. I put in the one reference that I found. I'm concerned that, in its current state, this article is a candidate for deletion based both on notability issues and the fact that it's just a definition. I was unable, however, to find any additional sources that would allow me to expand the article further without delving into the realm of original research. If anybody has any, please add them to the article or mention them here and I'll try to add that content to the article. -Chunky Rice 22:47, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Thinking further, maybe this content would be better placed on a page called "Boardgame mechanics" along with other, similar short entries. I'll look into it. -Chunky Rice 22:49, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
