Talk:Mod ruby

How does sharing of classes among Apache processes make mod_ruby not safe for multiple applications? Is there a resource that describes this problem?

- My guess is that it's because of a ruby program's ability to do runtime changes to any class. Sharing instances of the classes would allow one ruby app to change the behavior of other ruby apps on the same server. Still, I haven't seen enough talk of any real apache-based ruby serving option to know if this is the problem. --Busbeytheelder (talk) 03:38, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
