The archives in the MRC relate principally to industrial relations. The centre houses a large number of 19th and 20th century documents relating to:
- Trades unions and similar organisations
- Employers' and trade associations
- Industrial relations
- Pressure groups
- Political parties and organisations

All higher research theses (PhDs and dissertations by research) submitted at Warwick since 1984 appear on the Library Catalogue
[edit] Special Collections (SPC)
Special collections materials of the University of Warwick Library Catalogue are held in the MRC where they are available for consultation.
[edit] Lord Rootes Memorial Fund Reports and University Publications
University publications include past copies of the student and University newsletters/newspapers (including the Warwick Boar, annual reports, statements of accounts and prospectuses. Reports from students funded by the Lord Rootes Memorial Fund are also stored by the Centre.
