Modern Gentlemen is a collection of underground comics published independently in Melbourne, Australia. It is financed by editor David Jackson and Savage Henry Media. The comic has limited release throughout Australia, the United States, Canada and the Netherlands in selected comic stores and art galleries.
Comprising of a collected effort by local artists and writers, most friends before the conception of the book, Modern Gentlemen consists of strange, twisted and darkly humorous stories that are underground in nature and controversial in content. The styles within the comic range from conventional pencil and ink through to digital drawing and photo collage. The writers also have a hand at drawing and vice versa.
Thus far one issue has been released in 2008.
