Those students also gained an international scholarship and a good reputation. Another student also had part of creating M.E.S.'s international repututation. She participated in the "People to People Leaders Summit on International Diplomacy" in Washington D.C. for almost the same purpose.
Most recently a group of students traveled to the U.S. as part of the Kidmocracy program which helped improve the vision of Arabs in the U.S. and to get to know each other's traditions. The students were hosted by American families who were very welcoming. The students not only had a good time but also learned a lot. They learned how American public schools are operated and how teaching and ways of learning differ between the two countries.
