Modem is a fictional character in the DC Universe. He first appeared in Keith Giffen's Suicide Squad vol. 2, #2 (December 2001).

Wesley Percival Sloan was recruited into Sgt. Rock's incarnation of the Suicide Squad and given the codename "Modem". A computer criminal, he was responsible for gathering intelligence and setting up team communications. Modem was killed by a member of the Onslaught (formerly the Jihad).
