MoDaCo is one of the world's largest independent Windows Mobile communities.[citation needed]
MoDaCo, originally short for "Mobile Data Consultancy" (but now expanded as "Mobile Data Community"), was started in November 2002 by Paul O'Brien in the UK, and primarily focuses on Microsoft powered Smartphone and Pocket PC devices and software.
Since it was started in 2002, MoDaCo has grown considerably, and currently has over 140,000 unique users. It includes dedicated support forums for various models of Smartphone and Pocket PC, and counts a number of Microsoft MVPs among its moderation staff.
