[edit] Shekinah Glory Ministries
The article Shekinah Glory Ministries has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:08, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] "speedily deleted" in ATL...
Hi Absolon! I'm a newbie to the Christian/Urban Gospel group-thingie, but I've been doing light editing for a long time. Anyhoo, I worked all day today on a page for Shekinah Glory Ministries that were "speedily deleted." I was about to link it up to pages for William Murphy, the Stellar Awards and such, but I don't want to waste my time if it's just going to get deleted. Help!!! Mochalox (talk) 21:21, 24 March 2008
- Please don't get discouraged. I know it can be a little frustrating. My number one recommendation would be to review the notability guidelines presented by WikiProject Music. Basicially if your article can meet one of the criteria you can avoid the Speedy Delete team. The Resouce section on that same page will give you a great list of places to find third party references for all your entries. As far as formating, I would recommend you look at the various WikiProjects for recommended article structure and information (WikiProject Christian music's recommended article structure is located here). This will generally give you an idea of what to include which will also help you avoid the speedy deleters. For images, make sure you have a Fair Use Rational (you can see my cheat sheet here. Hope this helps you. Absolon S. Kent (talk) 12:49, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
