Mobile gas chamber

Mobile gas chamber, or a self-propelled gas chamber was a type of lorry or similar vehicle used in German World War II concentration camps as provisional gas chambers for extermination of the inmates. In Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp such a lorry with the exhaust tube directed to the inside shuttled between Mauthausen and Gusen sub-camps until the permanent gas chamber was constructed.
