Mobile Media Center is relaunching under the brand Wauw.fm. Wauw! is a freeware service that provides free entertainment on mobile phones. It links your PC to your mobile phone. And this means that you can use your phone to listen to all your music, internet radio or access all your photos. This software is fully configurable - you can alter the streaming quality, ports, folders and more.
Wauw! is actually the Dutch spelling for the English word wow - nice name play.

[edit] What it does
Wauw! is available for Microsoft Windows based PCs only at this time - so no MACs or Linux. It's necessary to register online first then download the app to your PC which fires up the service.
It works with a lot of phones and doesn't seem to be carrier specific.
[edit] Streaming
Streaming content can also be accessed directly through mobile phones by using Wauw. You might want to ensure the streaming settings are working on your phone first - Wauw provides a nifty test during the onlne registration process which tests your phone for streaming - pretty effective way of knowing if your carrier has given you the right settings.
[edit] Compatibility
For a list of supported devices go to the device popup on the following page: http://www.wauw.fm/en/registration/ [1]
Audio-streaming is set to either .3gp or .mp3 by default depending on what device you choose during registration. It is possible to change these settings at will in the Wauw Studio software - thats the PC application.
