G'day Moa999. Hey good job on Template:Combined Associated Schools!! I was going to create one but you beat me to it. Welcome to Wikipedia and keep up the great work. Cheers -- Ianblair23 (talk) 10:19, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Apple in the Chapel
Hi Moa999, just been having a lovely trip down memory lane. I was a border in year twelve when your "alleged" incident took place. The person who found the 2 guys tossing off (note they were not shagging) was Mr Pearson, the school disciplinarian. The whole stupid incident was reinforced when the then head master Dr Paterson displayed a very poor understanding of how to handle (or not handle) such an incident, by talking about it at a school assembly. I can also tell you with some authority that the apple part of the story was a complete fabrication added to the rumour going around by a couple of smart ass borders. I was one of them... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Davisthemavis (talk • contribs) 17:07, May 29, 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Apple in the Chapel
Hi Moa, thanks for your message. I appreciate the opinions of the Knox Grammar School old boys, however, the "Apple in the Chapel" rumour is very pervasive (I live in Melbourne and I had heard of it before reading the article). So I think it should be mentioned in the article. We are not reporting it as fact, but as "unverified" and "unconfirmed rumours," which it is. I feel that section of the actual text is poorly written, POV sounding and it definitely should be rewritten, but I maintain that the rumour should be included in the article.
Also, please remember to sign your talk page comments by typing four tildes (~~~~).

P.S. In addition, I just noticed you placed a comment for User:Demas on his user page instead of his user talk page. I transferred the comment to his talk page for you as the "you have new messages" notification is not given for edits made to the user page. It is also considered to be against "wiki-etiquette" to edit another editor's user page. I realise this was an inadvertent error and it is easy enough to do, but just thought I'd let you know. [edit] Mark Vos
Thanks for your contribution, but I don't believe that a news article about an alleged "poker war" between Mark Vos and Joe Hachem needs to be listed. Perpetuating this alleged rift by including it on Mark's page is of no service to anyone. I regard the article as an opinion piece and will remove it. Regards, Ash73 12:48, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Apple Chapel rumour talk sub page
If you think it's advisable to keep the sub page, or move the text back to the main talk page, this can be done, but I think it might be better to leave it buried, at least for now. Tyrenius 02:59, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Knox Grammar Logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Knox Grammar Logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:36, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Knox Grammar Logo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Knox Grammar Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 22:16, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
