Moab Cluster Suite

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Moab Cluster Suite is a cluster workload management package, available from Cluster Resources, Inc.[1], that integrates the scheduling, managing, monitoring and reporting of cluster workloads. Moab Cluster Suite simplifies and unifies management across one or multiple hardware, operating system, storage, network, license and resource manager environments. Its task-oriented management and a flexible policy engine ensure service levels are delivered and workload is processed faster. Moab was developed as a spin-off of the Open Source Maui job scheduling package, which was developed as project on the SourceForge site.[1]

Moab's feature set has expanded greatly since forking from Maui, and has many new features. A comparison list is available on Cluster Resources Inc.'s site.
