My mother is a first cousin to Morris Udall and their families were close when she and Morris were children. When I was busted by the High School Vice-Principal with firecrackers at school I was lectured at home about Morris losing his eye to a firecracker when he was a boy. So what is the truth here? Firecracker or pocket knife? Were my parents trying to manipulate me with lies into fear of firecrackers with a made up story or does the Wikipedia article need correcting? Help me out here folks. 67.169.236.243 18:46, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Mo Udall was my uncle, and I stayed with him in the year after his presidential campaign. We were told the pocket-knife story; no mention of firecrackers.Socratidion 14:04, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

I added "Citation Needed" to the claim Mo Udall was "Non-practicing" Mormon. In my Wikipedia work, it seems common for politically liberal Mormons are falsely called "inactive" when they are in fact quite active. It may be true that was "non-practicing", which is why I only called for a citation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.19.23.229 (talk) 21:49, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
