MNP is a three letter acronym that can stand for several things:
- Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (in Dutch:Milieu en Natuur Planbureau; MNP)
- Northern Mariana Islands, an archipelago in the western Pacific Ocean
- Microcom Networking Protocol, an error-correcting communications protocol for modems
- Mobile number portability, a service that allows one to take a cellphone number from one provider to another
- Mir Space Station, whose writing in Cyrillic letters (Мир) look like the letters MNP
- Manor Park railway station, a National Rail station in England
- Meyers Norris Penny LLP, a Western Canadian chartered accounting firm
- The spin trap 2-methyl-2-nitrosopropane (MNP). This diamagnetic molecule forms adducts with unstable free radicals to form a more stable paramagnetic nitroxide radical that can be detected by electron spin resonance spectroscopy. It is particularly useful for trapping carbon-centered tyrosyl radicals [eg. see J. Biol. Chem. 271 (1996), 15498-15503].
