The MMOTY (also known as the MOMO Award) is a Malian football award designed to recognise the best Malian Midfielder in competitive football.
The award was conceived in 2000 by the Fédération Malienne de Football but it was not until May 2006 that it's inaugural winner Mohamed Sissoko was named by current Fédération Malienne de Football President Salif Keïta in a special ceremony in Bamako.
