[edit] Citations
Please read WP:CITE for information on how to properly format citations. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:43, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
The minor awards were removed, not primarily for failure to provide citations, but because they were non-notable and not particularly relevant to the article. The Telly Awards, in particular, are notoriously non-notable pay-to-win "awards." --Orange Mike | Talk 16:43, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, for starters, read the language I linked to, about how to properly cite a source. Also useful here will be our reliable sources, notability, neutral point of view and autobiography guidelines (I'm assuming you got some of this from her or her publicist). The article at present reads more like a publicity blurb, or a fansite, than like an impartial description of a minor figure. It is inherent in the television field, in particular, to accumulate all the little goodie points one can; but the tone of this article must be as impartial as one on Molly Ivins or Colonel McCormick or Benito Mussolini (did you know Bennie was an editor originally?) Surely in a market like Houston, Gras has drawn some criticism and controversy. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:12, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Conflict of interest?
Are you Patricia Gras, or do you work for her in some capacity? --Orange Mike | Talk 16:43, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- No I am not Patricia Gras nor do I work for her. I attend the University of Houston and was able to meet her through the Communication department. I found her to be a very accomplished and interesting journalist and wanted to add her to Wikipedia that is when I noticed she previously had a page and that's when I made the effort to have it reinstated and am now trying to correct all the mistakes someone previously made. It is not as easy as I thought so if you have any suggestions I would appreciate the help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mlreynol (talk • contribs) Brought here from User talk:Orangemike
