[edit] Zivio!

U "See also" paragraf idu clanci koji nisu spomenuti. A, kako su ova tri clanka vec spomenuta prije, njima nije mjesto u "See also" paragrafu... tako da, nemoj se ljutit, al ja cu sad revertati to sto si ti napravio... nista osobno jel, stvar je samo u tome da "See also" ne sluzi tome... --Dijxtra 22:02, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Squats in UK

I nominated an article that you created, Squats in UK, for deletion. If you think that the article is salvageable, or that I'm mistaken, please comment on its deletion page. Please see the Guide to deletion if you have any questions about Wikipedia's deletion process. -- Leuko 02:20, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hello Mladifilozof

hi Mladifilozof, nice that you feel like contributing to wikipedia and especially nice that you want to help with the squatting articles, which are an area of interest for me also ... if i may give you some advice i would say there is not much point making lists of squats for individual countries becuase they will probably get deleted as non-notable ... as is happening to the UK squats page. Maybe its better to add notable squats to the squatting page and give them stub pages if you feel like adding them? Notability is of course a difficult notion, but there is a common sense element to it. They each must of course be verifiable.

Here are some stubs i made if you wanna look at them:

And a page i made:

Also i made a comment on the deletion page that in my opinion squats and social centres are not necessarily to be linked... becuause although a lot of soc.centres are squatted, there are also places like LARC which were bought.

I know it takes a while to "learn the ropes" here, that is to say, to understand how wikipedia works on the inside, if i can be of any help, please let me know on my talk page.

happy editing! Mujinga 19:34, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

thanks for your message, if you need help with grammar for articles on specific squats then maybe i can help - i am a native english speaker. Mujinga 21:48, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Squats

The UK article was deleted through due process. The others that were intended to be included (SP, NL) were not added properly and I was unable to consider them as part of the same debate, hence they have not been deleted but could be nominated in the future.

On an editing note I would point out that lists of this type must be sourced, must conform to WP:NOT and various other list guidelines, and should not contain a mass of redlinks to entities whose notability is not apparently obvious. It may well be that this type of list is not the right way to present information about squats on Wikipedia. Your apparent knowledge on the subject may also stem from original research and it is important you provide sources to show this is not the case. Thanks, Deizio talk 15:22, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] More on squats

hiya,

please take what im saying in good faith becuase im appreciating the fact that you take time and energy on wikipedia, but i want to point out a few things ....

i think its great that you want to add info about squats, but that info must be verifiable and i think you are new here, so if you are, its best perhaps to take time to understrand how to create pages properly by reading about how to do it and studying good pages as templates. the lists of squats in different countries will now probably all get deleted, which is a shame, unless you can provide reliable sources and references. was your plan to slowly add pages on individual squats? thats what my plan is for the netherlands and then i guess when there are enough pages in the notable squat section in the squatting page then i can expand back to Squats in The Netherlands. as i said before, ask me if you need help im happy to oblige. or ask a question somewhere.

i saw the page you created on Metelkova ... you just ripped it from their webpage here which is totally against wikipedia policy and you must know that. yes there are wikipolice, i know i know, but there are rules which should be obeyed!!

if you make a blue link, you should make sure the link actually goes to what you want it to go to ... as i went through the lists of squats i followed lots of blue link which didnt go to the right place. eg Città di Castello

oh and a final thing, you always have the minor edit box ticked? you should only have that ticked when making a very small insignificant edit .. like fixing a spelling error. check your edit list to see what i mean.

cheers, Mujinga 22:38, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

ok, thats interesting, it was a bit vague here, where it said:
"In 2006, the Inspectorate for the Environment unsuccessfully tried to carry out the demolition of Metelkova, but was prevented each time by the physical yet non-violent intervention of people at Metelkova itself. On 2nd August, however, the Inspectorate nonetheless succeded in its intentions, and with the help of a large number of police who cordoned off the relevant site. Nonetheless, later in the same time, the various users of Metelkova decided to build a new school in place of the the old one. This will not be renamed the Small school. Rather, we want to show that we have politically as well as culturally grown and developed in all these years. Therefore instead of a “Small school” we shall build a “Primary school”. The autonomy that therefore crucially defines the creativity Metelkova continues regardless. "
If you wanna change it (you could just change it to saying the school was demolished) then go ahead. BUT remember you must give REFERENCES (and sorry but in english is best for the english wikipedia!). I'm tired now, I will probably go sleep, but i will check tomorrow what you did or if you want leave me a note go ahead. Or we could discuss it on the article's talk page here. Cheers and happy editing Mujinga 01:23, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Antonio_Negri.gif. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 09:19, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Theodoras

I noticed that you recently renamed an article on a Byzantine empress as Theodora II. I was not aware of numerals assigned to the ,often overlooked, empresses consort. However I have been working on the articles on the Byzantine empresses for some time and the numbering struck me as overlooking several of them. In chronological order we have:

The wife of Theophilus was the third empress of that name out of seven in total. Any historical work assigning ordinals to them? Dimadick (talk) 14:23, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
