[edit] Congratulations on your first two vandalism warnings!
Don't despair. I got one from Colleenthegreat, a user who has been blocked and reprimanded repeatedly. So wear your warning as a badge of honor.
When I got your Coffin Joe message, I was feverishly rewriting the plot summary for Showgirls(!). I have to run an errand for coupla hours, but I'll get to it eventually. Wanted to ask you: I've never seen the Coffin Joe series, and Amoeba Music has a nifty used boxed set of three Coffin Joe films in a box that looks like a coffin, natch. Should I blow $45 in store credit on this? Will check for your recommendation before I leave. Thanks. By the way, you're great. Kinkyturnip (talk) 22:32, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Primer
Many thanks for the input. I'm hoping to get Primer (film) up to good article status, but I've not edited a film article before so any guidance is much appreciated. JMalky (talk) 10:14, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Faster Wikicat, Edit! Edit!
Hey hepcat:
Thanks for fixin' Faster, Pussycat. I learned all sorts of interesting tidbits by clicking on the links to actors' names:
- Susan Bernard posed for Playboy and was the second Jewish Playmate. (I think Cynthia Myers is the hottest Playmate ever, but I'm biased in favor of her because we're both from Ohio. Her Playboy spread carried the headline, "Holy Toledo", because that's her hometown — and oh, she's marvelously stacked.)
- Tura Satana was raped by several guys in Chicago when she was 13. To seek revenge, she learned martial arts and eventually tracked down every guy who raped her and thumped his ass.
Why am I telling you this?
- Because you rock.
- Because I don't want you to get discouraged when editors pick on you for no good reason.
- Because I want you to be less like Susan Bernard (whom Varla calls "the frail") and more like butch, buxom, brutal Varla.
(Not that I think you're frail. And not that I want you to grow boobs like Z-Man.) Hang in there. Kinkyturnip (talk) 03:36, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Elliot Handler
Thanks for your message. I'm afraid I can't delete pages unless they go through one of the proper deletion processes. It seems that you've already made a correction/apology on the talk page, so I wouldn't worry too much about this... everyone makes mistakes! If you really feel strongly about this, you could archive the discussion from the talk page so it's not immediately visible. Papa November (talk) 22:03, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Coffin Joe
After I got your message today, I sauntered on down to Amoeba and procured the Coffin Joe trilogy. What a hoot! Ordeal by snakes and tarantulas...a gaunt assistant, Bruno, with Dawn Davenport post-acid attack face make-up and a hump you expect to shift like Gene Wilder's in Young Frankenstein...and Coffin Joe, a sadistic ghoul with an existential crisis who's trying to create a master race from big-breasted and -haired women. Plus, I love the scene where he saves the child's life from the mental motorcyclist — a variation on the hooker with a heart of gold theme (ghoul with a heart of gold?).
I really dig these films, but I'm on a big feng shui kick, and I rarely keep movies after I've seen them. Would you like to have this numbered set? (It's one of 10,000 made.) It comes in a miniature coffin with a fumetti based on the character. Consider it a gift for all your hard work on Wikipedia. Please take it — you'll be helping me unburden myself of material possessions (hmmm, sounds like a Coffin Joe crisis).
If you act now, this set can be yours — absolutely free! (Sorry, cubic zirkonia not included.) Lemme know. Kinkyturnip (talk) 23:00, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] At midnight sometime soon...
you will possess a Coffin Joe casket. You're going to be even more thrilled: there are four fumetti (fumetto?) — one inside each DVD case, and an extra one that comes with the box. I esp. enjoyed the color sequence when Joe dreams he's in hell. There's a similar color insert in Lady In A Cage, during the scene where Olivia de Haviland stabs James Cahn's eyes out. So enjoy the gore I'll be sending your way soon. Kinkyturnip (talk) 01:13, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Talk about speedy delivery!
I just mailed that Thursday morning. Sitting here smiling. Glad you got it already.
I thought overall the set was in good condition for being used, except for a slight tear on the lid of the "coffin". Plus there was some schmootz on the coffin lid too. Amoeba shrinkwraps everything in this gauzy film — partly to obscure the condition of their used stock, I suspect. Anyway, I'm just nitpickin'.
Enjoy! You deserve it. Take care. And beware the man with the menacing monobrow and long fingernails. Kinkyturnip (talk) 23:24, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm glad it's sorted now :) Also, please could you fix your signature as soon as possible? You need to replace the link to User talk:Talk with a link to your own talk page (User talk:Mjpresson). Papa November (talk) 08:56, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
