[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Fox Glacier NZ 2.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Fox Glacier NZ.jpg. The copy called Image:Fox Glacier NZ.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 16:17, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Photos of birds and other NZ Images
Kia ora Mjobling. I've noticed that you are uploading really nice quality images of NZ birds etc, such as the Southern Royal Albatross, the Stewart Island Robin, and Fox Glacier. Have you thought about uploading these to the Wikimedia Commons rather than the English-language Wikipedia? That way your photos can be used on all the the Wikimedia projects - for one thing they are way better than what's available now, and also we can use them on the Māori Wikipedia! Kahuroa 19:32, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks; I'll have a look at Wikimedia Commons. Sounds great if they can be used on the Maori site! Mjobling 14:25, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bird photos
Thanks for all the bird photos! They look great. I'm hoping to go to Kaikoura in the next few weeks but at least the pressure to take great pictures is off now! Sabine's Sunbird talk 21:33, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks! It's a fantastic place. Can't wait to go back again. If you're interested, the pictures are in high res at: http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/558493842vZRiTM?start=24 Just click on an image and select "View Full Size" Mjobling 14:23, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Great photos there! Apart from the robins, you have some that we haven't got a decent photo of on Wikipedia - such as the Kākā eating a branch (awesome) and the saddleback ... and Re Commons - I transferred three of your photos already - check out mi:Toroa ihupuku, mi:Toroa ingoingo, and mi:Toroa mokepūihi - I kept the names of the images the same as you used. Beautiful pix... There's a tool here that's quite good for transferring images to Commons from this or other wikipedias. Kahuroa 18:47, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image
I don't know how often you still check here but if you ever want to upload this [1] imgae it would be very cool. Cheers. Sabine's Sunbird talk 03:19, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Commons
The picture en:White-chinned Petrelyou uploaded to English Wikipedia is great.
- Will it be possible to upload it to Commons? [[2]]
By doing so any other language wikipedia and wikispecies etc will be able to use it. Furthermore there is no other picture of a White-chinned petrel available in commons. Thanks again for sharing it with everybody. Eric
[edit] Your Tram Images...
Hello Mjobling,
Just checking that it's ok to use your images at http://trams.wikia.com, my trams wiki. It uses GFDL, the same as Wikipedia, and all your images will be acredited to you!
Thanks,
