[edit] Some review suggestions

Hi Maunus, I've had a quick review and as would be expected you are developing this very nicely indeed! A couple of review suggestions, will make some more a bit later when I've some more time. Other than a little more copyediting for idiomatic phrasing:

  • The 'history' and 'geography' sections could be swapped around, ie give the setting first then the story.
  • In the 'history' section, probably need a little more to separate the presumption of Olmec precursors from the conquest-era description. Also, the assumption of Olmec relatedness should probably be qualified, and mention who proposes this
  • The 'social structure' section I couldn't quite get, for eg the ref to 'mexican administration'. I know cargo system is wikilinked but it could probably do with some words in this article to explain it some more, as is presumably unfamiliar to most readers
  • Could the {{IPA}} or similar template be used to make some of the nonstandard chars display more reliably in most folks' systems?

Just some initial thoughts. Once again, great work! Cheers, --cjllw | TALK 07:19, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
