Mixtape Messiah 4 is a mixtape by the Houston rapper Chamillionaire. Unlike Mixtape Messiah 2 and Mixtape Messiah 3, and like the first installment of the series, it will be sold via retail rather than distributed as a free download. According to Chamillionaire's official website, www.chamillionaire.com, it was scheduled to release on December 18, 2007 but has been pushed back to 2008. Up until May 23 it still said "Mixtape Messiah 4 coming 2008". The site has since been going through renovation, and no longer displays the message.[1] Chamillionaire said on his MySpace page that the delay is to show respect for the recently deceased Pimp C. On Chamillionaire's XM show Chamillitary Radio on May 16, Chamillionaire played a song and said "I done snatched this beat for MM4". And though Chamillionaire didn't say the name of the song, the song was searched by chamillination.com and later found out to be The Re-Up Gang - 20K Money Making Brothers on the Corner, off of the We Got it 4 Cheap Vol. 3(The Spirit Of Competition-We Just Think We're Better) Mixtape.[2]

On Chamillionaire.com, there is a hidden message which mentions Mixtape Messiah 4 while talking about the new website: "This will be worth the wait just like Mixtape Messiah 4". Although it had originally mentioned that it may be released prior to June, the message was subsequently removed, and as of June 8, its release is still pending.
