This category contains articles relating to individual scholars who have specialised in or are otherwise particularly noted for making substantial contributions towards the study of the Mixtec culture and peoples of Mesoamerica. The contributions may be in one or more fields of study, such as archaeology, anthropology, ethnohistory, linguistics, socio-politics, and so on. For 'Mesoamerica' to focus is generally in the pre-Columbian era, but may also extend into the post-conquest, colonial, as well as modern, times and experiences.
