Hi, very new here...just looking around.
Added an article on Maine Guides. First time. Let me know how bad it is.

[edit] Singular They
Rubbish.
Ha Ha Ha... Please sign your comments. Since you are just anonymous, I guess this is like a driveby insulting....but since you care...
THEY widely accepted as Gender Neutral Singular pronoun.
English is a language that evolves over time. No more silly than YOU being both singular and plural.
Words and grammar become accepted as usuage becomes more common.
You can fight it all you want, but it is already here.mitchsensei
[edit] Your comments on Wikipedia talk:Candidates and elections
Agree 100% with your comments. A page I created on a candidate here in Arizona (Gabrielle Giffords) was nominated for deletion and survived.
One comment--it is Wiki-tradition that new comments are added to the bottom of a talk page. I didn't know this myself until the recent Giffords controversy. Cheers, --Utahredrock 00:27, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Maine Meetup?
Greetings! My name is Garrett Fitzgerald, and I've lived in Brewer for the past year. I just thought I'd check in with the rest of the Maine Wikipedians to see if there was enough interest to start organizing a Wikipedia:Meetup somewhere in the state. If you're interested, drop me a note by email or userpage: if there's enough interest, I'll see about organizing a bit more formally. See you around!--SarekOfVulcan 07:13, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
