User talk:Mitchazenia/Hurricane Kristy (2006)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's not an Atlantic hurricane. And it never affected land, so don't make things up like "Kristy had effects on the tip of Baja California, producing light rainfall" - the closest Kristy got was about 700 miles from the tip. – Chacor 01:26, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

A lot of the stuff seems made up. It did not get absorbed into Hurricane John as suggested in the lede, a cite is needed for Fujiwhara (don't say there is a "possibility"), the wave cannot possibly be the "the first storm to affect land since Tropical Storm Emilia in July", because of all the other waves that didn't develop, be consistent, either count all waves or don't count the wave stage. Whoissued the first advisory is of no relevance to the storm. "Hurricane Kristy was the longest lasting storm of the season in the NHC's area of responsibility with 36 advisories" needs a cite. All in all, a poorly-written article with probably lots of false or fake information that probably doesn't deserve to be in mainspace. – Chacor 06:48, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
