New York State Route 146B was a former spur route of the capital region-based New York State Route 146. The road was 4.2 miles long, stretching from the parent route to the interchange with Saratoga County Routes 90 (Vischer Ferry Road) and Saratoga County Route 91 (Grooms Road). The entire route is in Saratoga County, but is in two towns: Rexford and Clifton Park. The entire history of Route 146B, when it comes to assignment and decertification, is completely unknown.
[edit] Route description
New York State Route 146B began at an intersection with Route 146 and Saratoga County Route 88 in Rexford. The road began by going eastward towards Clifton Park, passing to the south of the Edison Club.[1] As Route 146B began to go south, it passed Mohawk River Country Club. Route 146B turned to the east again, intersecting with some local roads. Miller Road intersected in Groom Corners, with Route 146 coming to an end at the intersection with Saratoga County Routes 90 and 91 in Clifton Park.
[edit] History
Most of the history behind behind Route 146B is unknown. However, what is known is that the 146B designation was decertified at an unknown date, becoming Saratoga County Route 91 from Route 146 to U.S. Route 9 in Halfmoon, New York.
