The Mitsubishi 2G1 engine is an iron-block twin cylinder engine built by Mitsubishi Motors for the kei car class from 1969. They were first introduced in the second generation Minica to replace the two-stroke ME21 powerplant. Like its predecessor, it was an overhead valve engine.
