From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mithridates of Armenia (flourished 1st century) was a vassal King of Armenia twice, under the protection of the Roman Empire. Mithridates was the brother of Farasmanes, King of Iberia.
His first reign was between the years 35 and 37; his second was from 42 to 51. During the interim period, Mithridates was supposedly imprisoned by Roman Emperor Caligula.
