Mithapur, Gujarat is a census town in Jamnagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat.

Mithapur (Gujrat, India) is located at 22.41° N 69.00° E[1]. It has an average elevation of 7 metres (22 feet).

As of 2001 India census[2], Mithapur had a population of 13,558. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Mithapur has an average literacy rate of 78%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 85%, and female literacy is 71%. In Mithapur, 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Also the location shown in the map is one of the villages of Gujarat. There is another Mithapur, that is located on the extreme tip of the lower jaw of Gujarat. This town is essentially a colony that is supported by Tata Chemical Ltd. , one of the flagship companies of the Ratan Tata Group.

The company produces soda Ash and salt as its core products. The company has also added a Cement plant in the 90s and have used the waste products from its Soda Ash plant and the Boliers that run the Power plant to produce construction grade cement. This town is located between Okha and Dwarka. It is about 10 km from Okha and about 20 km from Dwarka.
