Mitch Healey

Mitch Healey (b. May 11, 1969) is a former member of the Cronulla Sharks rugby team and current coach.

His first start was on Saturday, March 17, 1990 against the Gold Coast Seagulls at Seagulls Stadium . He started his debut with a try to put the visitors in front for the first time in that match. The Sharks went on to win the match quite comfortably 32-2.

Mitch played from 1990-2000 scoring a total of 33 tries in 223 games. He kicked 3 field goals one of which booted the sharks to snatch a win from the North Sydney Bears. Healey kicked 139 goals during his time with the sharks. Over his career Healey scored a total of 418 points. In his last game of his career with the sharks Healey scored a try against the Parramatta Eels. He then went on to play in the Superleague with Castleford.

Healey who has previous coaching experience working as assistant to Souths NRL coaches Paul Langmack and Arthur Katinas in 2004, takes over reins of the under-20 Sharks from Aaron Raper.
