MiTAC is a Taiwan electronics company established December 8, 1982.
Mio Technology and Tyan are subsidiaries of MiTAC.
On 22 February 2007 MiTAC signed a definitive agreement to buy portable navigation device (PND) operations of the Navman brand from Brunswick Corporation. MiTAC's three core businesses are PC products, Server products, and Mobile Communications products. They employ more than 12,400 people worldwide.
