[edit] Difference between CSN and User:RFC

Why couldn't the conversations that take place on CSN happen in user RFC's? That is what is seens as the difference in role between CSN and user RFC's? jbolden1517Talk 16:58, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

There does seem to be one difference, which should be fixed. RfCs require that the user in question be notified, and given a chance to respond. (The requirement for a second may not be necessary; comments here that no-one else supports will be ignored. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 03:41, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

RFCs are widely derided as having no teeth to enforce anything. If it is to be used for sanctioning, RFCs need to be overhauled. hbdragon88 07:36, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
