[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Random
Page created by user who is now indefinitely blocked, only includes himself as a member, and has no actual relevance to any particular content Redphoenix526 (Talk) 17:34, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - as per nom. John Carter (talk) 21:41, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- If this is deleted, we should also delete Wikipedia:RdProj as it redirects there and the subpage Wikipedia:WikiProject Random/Userbox (this appears to be the only subpage at the moment). Slambo (Speak) 11:25, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Comment - I guess I missed those pages. Yes, those should be up for deletion, too. Redphoenix526 (Talk) 15:32, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I've got those pages also tagged for deletion as part of this one. Redphoenix526 (Talk) 21:24, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - its the same creator as for WikiProject Microsoft, another project that is going nowhere. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 03:03, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - per nom ...--Cometstyles 05:59, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Keep It seems like kind of a cheap shot to MfD his WikiProject while he's blocked and unable to explain what the heck this thing is and what its purpose is. I'm assuming he didn't create this in violation of a ban (otherwise, it would have been speedied, no doubt) Obuibo Mbstpo (talk) 22:30, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

- Comment It never really took off, either. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against Gaogier, the project creator. In fact, I'm a member of one of his successful projects, Wikiproject Sega, better known as The Sega Project, and I helped him make it a successful project. I enjoyed working with him and his eccentric style, albeit it was a bit odd. But this never got any steam in the period of time since he created it to when he was blocked (at least a couple of weeks), and it doesn't really have any focus. My guess is its purpose was to attract editors to help pages about things he liked. You'll notice there's some Sega info on there and some Michael Jackson info, both of which already have projects to cover them already (The Sega Project was around before this one), and it just seems like one person's fancruft, if you ask me. - Delete a potential scope of 2,411,359 articles is far too big. Mr.Z-man 20:54, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- Delete per above. Bad idea for a Wikiproject. VegaDark (talk) 20:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
