[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Prussian Standesamter
This project now appears to be inactive. The other Prussian-subprojects have already been deleted and reincorporated into the parent Prussia WikiProject as a sub-projects. This project (this page and the talk page) has also been transferred to Wikipedia:WikiProjectPrussia/Standesamter, so this project is no longer necessary.
Therefore, I am requesting that this project now be deleted. - 52 Pickup 15:42, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

- Delete or redirect. -- Ned Scott 06:47, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Keep... again→Delete - Again someone has jumped the gun! Although I'd probably agree, it was kinda mean sending it to MfD. I think that a notice to the project or to its members would have been better advised, stating how they could have gotten more members to the project & how to get it in full swing. For example, someone could have mentioned placing a post on the community portal notice board. Then if there was still not action from the members, then the right action would be to send it here. Deletionists always jump the gun... Spawn Man 05:52, 7 November 2006 (UTC)- Please, actually look at the deletion discussion before making your cut and paste comments. The project itself is not being deleted, just this page. It's all apart of a non-controversial reorganization of the two WikiProjects, which appears to have been discussed and is already in progress. -- Ned Scott 06:44, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- I see your words, but al I hear is blah blah blah! Try saying something that isn't aggressive or attacking.... Spawn Man 02:02, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not attacking.. I'm just a bit annoyed that you left the comment without actually looking at what was being deleted. I'm sorry if I came off rude or anything. Anyways, the project itself has merged with another WikiProject, so it hasn't "gone away" but just moved to a subpage. They probably could have just used the page move feature to do this instead, but I guess they didn't, thus there are now two places where this project exists. For articles such a "cut and paste" move is a problem because of the GFDL, but I don't think it would be a major issue here. If it is an issue we can redirect the page and thus keep the page history. So again, the project isn't being deleted, it's been merged with another and even still has it's own subpage. This is just minor cleanup. -- Ned Scott 06:11, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks Ned for your nice response. I think I'll change my vote... Spawn Man 07:43, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

- Delete - as I remember, this project was specifically kept because the user who is now proposing its deletion specifically requested it. It had in fact, as I remember, been nominated for deletion before, I believe by me. If the one person who wanted to keep the project is now requesting its removal, I don't see any reason to object. Maybe some people should try paying attention to what others are actually saying before criticizing them. Badbilltucker 02:12, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Redirect this one and its old parent project to appropriate subpages of the Prussia project. Keeping this history around does no harm and redirects are cheap. Kusma (討論) 14:17, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
