[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Aramaic
This nomination includes Wikipedia:WikiProject Aramaic, Wikipedia:WikiProject Aramaic/Membership, Wikipedia:WikiProject Aramaic/Current Tasks, Wikipedia:WikiProject Aramaic/Message Board, and Wikipedia:WikiProject Aramaic/Resources, and all associated talk pages. Project was created by one user, who is also its only member, over the period of October 2006 through January 2007. None of the pages have had any project related activity since then. Despite the proliferation of pages, there also isn't any particular content on any of them to justify their being kept. Project creator is being notified of this discussion. - Wow, I had actually forgot that I put those pages up. The week directly after I put them together (specifically on October 22nd at 3:10 in the morning) my wife and I had a beautiful baby daughter who has has been... well distracting. :-) As I believe that such a WikiProject could be very beneficial to Wikiedia (mostly keeping an eye on Aramaic articles for screwball additions) I would like to take he time and ask around for membership (for which I know a sizeable number of editors would be interested) but in the end that does not work, by all means go ahead and delete it. אמר Steve Caruso 20:29, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Comment: If there are no objections, I suppose that we can have the nomination for deletion listed as being withdrawn by the nominator. But it would very much help your project get off the ground by developing it a bit further. Maybe reading the Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Guide might give you some ideas on how to indicate to potential members that the project has a bit more substance than it has right now. - Userfy - I would probably actually join this project. But a one person project with no activity should be userfied and posted to Proposals. When sufficient members are found (there is no fixed number but refer to the Guide), rename the page. And I must oppose withdrawal of the nomination, unless the creator agrees to userfication. If the creator needs help with the Proposals listing, let me know.--Doug.(talk • contribs) 02:17, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- Userfy - per above. - jc37 21:15, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
