[edit] Kaiser Permanente
This article was nominated for Peer Review amidst an edit dispute a month ago. While the article is still under dispute, I was advised (by TantalumTelluride ) that Peer Review is not the appropriate forum for an unstable article that's nowhere near showcase status. I request that you *Delete the Peer Review nomination. Also, I request *Delete {{POV}} template since there are obviously a number of POVs in play at this point, and the only purpose putting the POV template was for a person with one POV to denigrate the others. That person has not returned. The Cleanup template is the appropriate one. --Pansophia 08:17, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- I think there may be a misunderstanding of definitions. Here at Wikipedia, "delete" is used to describe the removal of entire pages from the encyclopedia. We do not use it to describe the removal of content on particular pages. That would be "ordinary editing". The issues you describe should be decided through discussion on the article's Talk page. The only reason to bring the issue here would be if you either want to delete the entire Kaiser Permanente page (in which case you really want to follow the Articles for Deletion process) or if you want to delete the {{POV}} template from all use in Wikipedia, not just it's removal from this one particular page (in which case you want to follow the Templates for Deletion process). [edit] Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/current
Obviously, this needs to be updated, and it hasn't been for 6ish months . Snargle 05:30, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- Delete Obsolete. I would say redirect if anything linked there, but the page is now an orphan, outside of this deletion process. Good catch, Snargle! Xoloz 05:38, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- Delete. I'd say mark it as obsolete, but if its an orphan there is little point. Thryduulf 09:56, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- Delete as an obsolete page. Pegasus1138 17:19, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- De-freakin'-lete - it's a goner. BD2412 T 23:41, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- Discounting vandalism and the mfd notice, this was only ever edited on one day. Maintaining a list of pages currently on AFD, as opposed to transcluding them, is obviously a job for a bot, and - surprise! - a bot already does it, at User:AllyUnion/AFD List. On the other hand, a redirect from a subpage of the old Wikipedia:Votes for deletion name won't be useful. Delete. —Cryptic (talk) 18:53, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
