[edit] Wikipedia:Requested lists

This is basically a copy of Wikipedia:Requested articles, but it's not useful. Creating a list is almost trivial, compared to creating an article. And the page has proven to be a cruft-catcher. If a list is really needed, and an editor doesn't know how to create it (?!?), he/she can simply ask for help at the relevant WikiProject. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 16:18, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, several of the suggestions were real - bad ideas, but real - List of ice cream flavors, for example. Another editor deleted that suggestion. And I just restored another suggestion by reverting some (old) vandalism. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 22:21, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

• Keep. Lists aren't the same as articles, and shouldn't be treated as such. There's really no real reason to delete this; it serves a valid purpose. Celarnor ^{Talk to me} 06:47, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
• Keep. Why not, really. So long as we don't have articles requested such as Lists of transsexual stockbrokers in the United States of Filipino-Korean-Irish origin (with no offense intended to Filipino-Korean-Irishmen), I think this will catch on nicely.--WaltCip (talk) 18:51, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
