[edit] Wikipedia:Random Button
Looks to be an attempt at a Wikiproject, although improperly named if so. In any case, this is a page about a single userbox that, when clicked, will go to a random featured article. Not a bad idea, but I don't see the need to create a Wikipedia-space page for it, let alone a Wikiproject. How one can make a Wikiproject around a single userbox is beyond me. I would also be fine if this were userfied, if requested. VegaDark (talk) 16:57, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Userfy: Doesn't really belong in the Wikipedia namespace, but I see no problem with it moved to userspace. - Rjd0060 (talk) 17:03, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Against Deletion: I do not see why this is to be deleted. It gives little known articles fame. This way more people have knowledge of it. I am against deletion of this and it shouldn't be deleted unless for a GOOD reason. Signed, Nothing444 17:10, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- P.S. Why not make it Wikipedia:WikiProject Random Button? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nothing444 (talk • contribs) 17:11, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

- I've corrected the format of the above entry by Nothing444. - Rjd0060 (talk) 17:13, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Delete or userfy - Nothing against the idea in general, and wouldn't object to having it exist in userspace or maybe be linked to by the Wikipedia:Featured Articles, but I can't see that it even remotely deserves a separate project or page. John Carter (talk) 17:23, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- I guess we could link it to Wikipedia:Featured Articles. Great idea, John Carter! Signed, Nothing444 17:28, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- I just don't want it userfied. I'll have it linked to Wikipedia:Featured Articles Signed, Nothing444 17:29, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- I think we should link it or merge it with Wikipedia:Featured Articles Signed, Nothing444 17:32, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - doesn't need its own page! —TreasuryTag talkcontribs 19:15, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Userfy Nothing444, don't touch WP:FA, It's fine the way it is. I will gladly userfy it into my own userspace. Just tell me when :). CWii(Talk|Contribs) 20:56, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- userfy – It is not related throughout building an encyclopedia or other Wiki-project; I see no issues or concerns when moved to the appropriate namespace. – NHJG 23:19, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Userfy. Doesn't need its own page in project space, but there's no reason to delete it. Moving to userspace is the best option. —Scott5114↗ [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 03:48, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Userfy per above. Hut 8.5 21:44, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Userfy per above. Kaldari (talk) 23:07, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Keep The nominator says it's about a userbox, but that is not the case. It's about a template {{Rnb}} which can be placed (most likely) on someone's userpage or talkpage. This page should be renamed accordingly for a wikiproject, but other than that I see no reason for not letting a group of people devoted to the management of a specific topic related to Wikipedia content, create a page to do so. I find this button a great way to stumble upon great featured articles, I never new existed. I think userfy is not the right option, because this has to do with a new and creative way of presenting featured content. Freestyle 14:49, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- I think userfy. Nanobri (talk) 06:46, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
