The result of the debate was Delete. With great respect for my friend Hiding, the consensus is that this unused page has insufficient wiki-worth to be considered historical. Xoloz (talk) 07:40, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Pageviews
This looks to be a bit of "thinking out loud" that went nowhere; it's been untouched since the first and only edit in July 2006, and no other pages link to it. It's not a help page, it's not a proposal, it's not a tool request, it's not an essay. It's... nothing. Kafziel Talk 07:01, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Delete - A single edit over a year ago does not a project make, so no need to mark this as historical. Whatlinkshere confirms that this page is long-forgotten. --jonny-mt 07:21, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. Little or no historical value. Ordinarily we keep historical pages rather than deleting them (as per WP:PERFORMANCE), but this page is not even of genuine historical interest. No one is even likely to look at it. WaltonOne 10:46, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Weak Delete Marking as historical is out as per above, but the page seemed to merit some importance as it apparently is derived from some "discussions on the wikitech-l mailing list" (I am oblivious to those things!), and I was going to suggest userfying, but the user seems to be online infrequently and has not shown any recent interest in it as evidenced by the page history, so burn it.--12 Noon 2¢ 21:30, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Delete Only one edit a year ago. Midorihana(talk)(contribs) 22:26, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Delete Derelict, by the looks of it. Master of Puppets Care to share? 04:35, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- Weak Delete/Improve? It is derelict, but it's not useless. It was a proposal, at least the beginnings of one. Maybe it would help if I reported why the proposal (which I pitched to some of the Wikipedia admins during Wikimania) went nowhere? I find it humorous that this deletion request has actually restarted my interest in this issue. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Erik Garrison (talk • contribs) 19:59, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

- Comment If you want time to improve it, we can always move it to your userspace until it is ready for prime time. But until it is ready, it really should be moved out of WP space.--12 Noon 2¢ 22:05, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

- Tag as Historical. When the devs tell us we need server space, we can run through the historical category. Until then, we keep most things in the Wikipedia space for archive purposes. Keep. Hiding T 18:26, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
