[edit] Wikipedia:Other people's signatures
Wikipedia:Other people's signatures (edit|talk|history|links|watch|logs)
Hopelessly PoV and fodder for an edit war that has already started. For a fuller argument, see its talk page. -- Hoary 00:16, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
PS: Perhaps I should have said here "userfy and delete". I've no objection to, er, userfication. -- Hoary 23:17, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- Userfy to Matt's userspace as per talk page, rather unhelpful in Wikipedia space. I will assume that Matt Yeager created this in good faith, and not as an attempt to provoke a dispute, even if the wording seems remarkably likely to do so. Picaroon (Talk) 00:28, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- Userfy then ignore - don't see any benefit in spending time debating the subject of editing signatures. Addhoc 14:23, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- If userfied, please be so kind as to leave a soft redirect to my userspace and avoid deleting the talk page. Matt Yeager ♫ (Talk?) 18:57, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- Userify, not against the rules per se, but could possibly be worded a little better to avoid future wikidrama cropping up. Lankiveil 10:32, 20 May 2007 (UTC).
- Userfy, I once had my signature changed, and it didn't make me very happy. *Cremepuff222* 01:15, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Delete, harmful to the encyclopedia, I see no reason to userfy, and a good reason not to userfy. Matt, you can save a copy on your computer if you wish, but this is edit-war central when it isn't attack central, and it simply isn't doing anything but fostering hostility. - A fellow has a right to juicy polemic or two in his userspace. Let him userfy it. That wouldn't raise any hostility from me. (Indeed, if time permitted, I might amuse myself by helping to edit it -- to Matt Yeager's PoV of course, not mine.) Or if we're going to be that solemn about these matters, I'll point out that "KillerChihuahua" (a name I admire, actually) might itself foster hostility. -- Hoary 23:17, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
