[edit] Wikipedia:No personal compliments
Granted it's a parody, granted it's not supposed to be taken seriously, but personally I feel this page is useless. ★MESSEDROCKER★ 12:09, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Delete if no one wants it, userfy if someone does. Maybe delete WP:NPC incase someone has a better use for the shortcut. Not as funny as it could be. -- Ned Scott 12:15, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Userfy or delete. I don't see how it's funny, but it won't do any harm if it's userfied to the creator, User:NoSeptember. - Mgm|(talk) 13:11, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Userfy It's not harmful, but not useful. James086Talk | Contribs 14:51, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Delete or userfy. I don't understand. It doesn't look like a parody, it looks like someone blatantly misunderstanding WP:NPOV. -Amarkov blahedits 16:30, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Keep if you take the policy tag off. Delete otherwise. Just H 19:07, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Keep with "humor" tag on top. — Dark Shikari talk/contribs 20:03, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Keep but move to humor category - it's also inoffensive as well. Not funny in my opinion, but keeping it in humor space should at least satisfy some people. --SunStar Nettalk 20:21, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Keep with "humor" tag on top. Releeshan 22:25, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- If the closing admin keeps the "humor" tag, the essay should also get a "lame" tag. Not BJAODN material. Too easy to get taken seriously even by those for whom English is their first language. Doesn't seem to advance any useful point about building an encyclopedia; instead appears to be a WP:POINT bit of sarcasm in response to being criticized for barnstars or something. Weak delete. Barno 04:23, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Keep ... one of the more benign WikiHumor pages. BigDT 07:07, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Keep or userfy, as long as it's tagged as humour the fact that some people don't find it funny is not a reason to delete. Eluchil404 07:51, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Keep is very funny--Slogankid 10:44, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Keep it's OK for the page to be funny. if we get rid of this page why don't we get rid of every funny wikipedia page. Cocoaguy (Talk)| (Edits) 19:04, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
forget it i do not want to get involved. Cocoaguy (Talk)| (Edits) 19:07, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Delete, useless. Cocoaguy, I understand you don't want to get involved, but it's a shame you've stricken out your above comment; I think that would be a very good idea – Gurch 21:31, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- A modest proposal: It's also a good idea to ask everyone who signs up to swear allegiance to Jimbo the Great, staple everyone's eyelids open, and ask their ISPs to remove access to all other websites. No one's denying that would have a great effect on the site's popularity and quality! --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 12:33, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Userfy - leave the humour tag there, although I'd personally diasgree on it. --Arnzy (talk • contribs) 15:15, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- Keep harmless humorous fork of WP:NPA. However, Delete the WP:NPC shortcut redirect; only the extremely illustrative and Wise (semi-)humour (a la WP:BEANS) and good illustrations of what not to do (WP:BJAODN, WP:LAME) should have redirects. This one is more like an injoke... --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 12:14, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
