[edit] Wikipedia:Justice Court, Wikipedia:Justice Court/Dais, Wikipedia:Justice Court/Shameboard, Template:Petition
The Justice Court was established to ensure officials use their powers justly. The Court maintains a Shameboard of officials who misuse their power or fail to discharge their duties. In other words, a way to hound admins who are doing their jobs correctly but are disliked by those who are not here to create an encyclopedia. We have procedures for dispute resolution, this is just designed to allow attacks on other users. Run by a self-appointed "Chief Magistrate" who has two edits to article space and created an RfA for himself on the day he arrived at Wikipedia. (Geo.plrd (talk · contribs)). - Delete just seems a complete waste of time (although obviously a fair bit of though went into its design!); we already have RfC, RfM, and RfAr. No need for a JC. --Wisden17 17:15, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

- Delete I don't see how this helps anyone write an encyclopedia. — Laura Scudder ☎ 17:26, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Delete with extreme prejudice. This is basically setting up a system of sactioned attack pages. · rodii · 17:29, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

- Blast with a panzershreck, with extreme prejudice (aka Delete). I hate the idea of this. --Lord Deskana I VALUE YOUR OPINIONS 18:56, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

- Delete – I fear the organization whose purpose is to dispense "justice" via tribunal, especially when it is run by a self-appointed "magistrate" who "serves until death, resignation, or removal". – ClockworkSoul 19:12, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Delete it like a hurricane, along with the other two pages listed above by Laurascudder. Also, issue a strong warning to whomever created them. Attempting to 'shame' other members of the community is not acceptable. --InShaneee 19:13, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Delete with extreme prejudice for, well, obvious reasons. -Mask 19:32, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Delete. It's a nice little bureaucratic setup, complete with various divisions, seats, titles to hand out, and a
GeneralissimoChief Magistrate at the helm. Apart from the pretty window dressing, it really does nothing for this encyclopedia beyond what is already covered under Wikipedia's normal way of resolving disputes. --Deathphoenix ʕ 20:01, 16 June 2006 (UTC) - Delete hit-list model created by a user (self-appointed lifetime chair?) with minimal experience (esp. WP:ENC-wise). The model seeks to circumvent normal channels of WP:DR, such as: WP:RFC/Use of administrator privileges, WP:RFDA, and WP:RfAr. It is unlikely the user is familliar with these. Model is highly suspect as a non-proactive hit-list (i.e. "shame" and... do what?). Note: I added Template:Petition. El_C 21:23, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- I believe Template:Petition should be placed in WP:TFD, though you can probably provide a link in that TfD to this MfD for reference. I'll move it there. --Deathphoenix ʕ 21:27, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- The TfD can be found here. --Deathphoenix ʕ 21:30, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Sure, makes no difference to me. El_C 21:42, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm torn between delete and tagging with {{reallybadidea}} so people stop making these, but it seems that the people that make such things don't do research in the first place, so they wouldn't find that it is already a bad idea. Kotepho 21:50, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Delete I saw this when it was created and wanted to post the MfD, but was talked out of it. Shame, that. ~Kylu (u|t) 02:51, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

- Do unto. We don't need a "WikiProject Personal Attacks" any more than we need a "WikiProject POV Pushing". --Carnildo 04:21, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
