[edit] Wikipedia:Guide to Humanity
- See also the parallel discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Guide to Humanity.
Recreation of disputed Guide to Humanity. Delete as per all the delete arguments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Guide to Humanity. In short, this is a user's project that does not contribute to the goal of building an English encyclopedia, and instead tries to take advantage of the prominence of Wikipedia as a site. - Delete Project namespace is not a backup for soon-to-be-deleted articles. Chick Bowen 13:38, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- Delete for all of my reasons stated at the other AfD. Peyna 14:19, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- Speedy delete as re-created/duplicative content. It will succeed or fail in the original AFD discussion. Attempting to move it here is an abuse of the process. In the meantime, I am redirecting this version back to the original so that it shows up on "What links here" and will be resolved when the original AFD is closed. - Oh right - I forgot that CSD. Thanks for the cleanup! FreplySpang (talk) 14:41, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

- Whether the content is something that the community finds to be unobjectionable at User:Ewok Slayer/Guide to Humanity, or back in its original location at User:Ewok Slayer/The Human Race, is something that should be discussed. Uncle G 16:57, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- I concur. --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 17:39, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- Ewok Slayer won't work on it - the stated intention is to have lots of other people do the work. If it's moved to userspace the (hard to detect) horde of contributers Ewok Slayer hoped for certainly won't appear. Metarhyme 18:16, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- My understanding of userfying is that it's primarily for something that seems like it may have been intended as a userpage (or fulfills the same function as a userpage) but was accidentally (or ignorantly) created in the main namespace. That certainly doesn't seem to be the case here. On the contrary, User:Ewok Slayer put it here because he didn't want it to be a userspace project. Chick Bowen 22:02, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- Or (sorry) have I misunderstood the question? I wouldn't find it offensive in userspace, no. Useless, yes, and at best a long stretch of what userspace is for. Chick Bowen 22:05, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- It could be argued that it still breaches Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_free_host_or_webspace_provider. Personally, I'm not too bothered if it stays on the userspace. It should be discussed, however. --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 23:20, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
