The result of the debate was, "What we have here, folks, is a case of 7D/4K. This is not something I'm comfortable calling a deletion consensus, and I don't want to expend great thinking effort on this case. I'll redirect as a compromise." Xoloz 17:34, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Don't be a duck
Yeah, it made me laugh. So did WP:FROWN. But the solution to people adding garbage onto Wikipedia is not to add more garbage; were this added by an anon, it'd be immediately tagged as vandalism and deleted. Delete Tijuana BrassE@ 00:15, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah it's funny but it's nonsense at the end of the day. BJAODN and delete. -- Francs2000 00:20, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- Conditional keep, if explanatory text is added. — May. 24, '06 [00:22] <freak|talk>
- Redirect to the actual policy/essay. -- stillnotelf is invisible 00:49, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- Keep, useful policy. We don't want ducks to run the encyclopedia. Kusma (討論) 02:50, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- Speedy Delete. If I'd stumbled across this page I'd have added Template:db-nonsense. --Hughcharlesparker 09:42, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- Delete with a yawn per Francs2000. I checked what links there and it will be no great loss. Martinp 13:52, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- BJAODN and delete as per Francs. Pegasus1138Talk | Contribs | Email ---- 03:23, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

- Keep please - this is a good corrolary, and can be used to point to the real policy. It will also keep this space from being abused. --Femur 04:21, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- To protect the space from being abused, shouldn't we delete, redirect and protect? Surely to keep it is to preserve the current abuse of the page? --HughCharlesParker (talk - contribs) 13:53, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
