The result of the debate was speedy deleted per author request. I didn't put in a redirect because as this board has never been used and is not even close to a misspelling, it seems illogical. If nothing else, people who followed the hypothetical redirect might think that RFC had something to do with admins, which it doesn't. But if anyone disagrees enough to want to create a redirect, feel free. --Sam Blanning (formerly Malthusian) (talk) 23:06, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Usernames
Created after a user was apparently inappropriately blocked on the grounds of username impersonation. Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User names is the place to discuss usernames that may be inappropriate, and username blocks that need to be overturned are rare enough that we don't need a separate forum to discuss them, they can just be reported on the main admin noticeboards. I had no idea that the RFC page for User names existed when I created this page. I have no objections to deleting it. User:Zoe|(talk) 17:48, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- Wouldn't redirecting it be simpler? Shimgray | talk | 18:57, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- Redirects are cheap. Zoe doesn't mind it being deleted. So, speedy redirect or speedy delete, either way we don't need a debate about it :) --kingboyk 22:36, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
