[edit] User talk:Pietro Shakarian
I would like my user talk page deleted because most of it is image notifications and confrontations with now blocked users. -- Pietro Shakarian 21:04, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- Comment Unless you plan on leaving the project, I'm fairly sure we can't delete your user talk page. You can archive it if you wish, though. --Coredesat 04:30, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Further Comment - I agree. You can't actually delete your userpage just rather keep it for historical interest by not editing it. Onnaghar tl ! co 14:13, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Comment. User talk pages are generally not deleted (only when there is a need to hide specific revisions). Is there any pressing need to delete the page in addition to simply blanking the notices? — Black Falcon (Talk) 17:44, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Remark: - I agree. The user talk page is perhaps the only 100% efficient way of comunicating with an editor. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 10:37, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Keep. You are encouraged to archive your talk page to get rid of old notices, or you can blank it if you really want to. However, there's nothing in policy, procedure or precedent that allows it to be deleted, unless it contains sensitive personal info or inappropriate material. WaltonOne 17:06, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Comment Well, there is m:Right to vanish, but so far the user hasn't indicated they're invoking it. --Coredesat 22:27, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Remark - this should of been filed with {{Db-userreq}}. ChrisDHDR 19:29, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- Keep One of Wikipedia's strengths is that we are held accountable for what we say. It seems to help people think a little more before posting. User talk page posts are especially important as it allows others to get a sense of how a user is interacting with others. This plays a significant roll in making decisions where that user is involved and assists others in interacting with that user. -- Jreferee (Talk) 08:51, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
