[edit] User talk:HouseOfScandal
This talk page seems deliberately engineered to be incomprehensible. Warnings, notices, and everything else are nearly impossible to discern. Beeblbrox (talk) 21:42, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- speedy keep - all I see is a rather fancy looking user page - I don't see any evidence that is "incomprehensible" or that it is designed to hide warnings. --87.112.0.212 (talk) 21:50, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Huh? I looked over the talkpage. Whilst most don't have as many images, I don't see what you're seeing. Seems perfectly fine to me. Am I missing something? It's just a talkpage after all, doesn't exactly need reliable sources.... Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 21:52, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Speedy keep - Seems to be a rather normal talk page, if rather oddly formatted with a lot of pictures. And talk pages aren't necessarily supposed to be comprehensible, except in the broadest possible sense by the editors who post or respond to notices there. - maybe it's just my browser or something, but it looks like black on black with only linked words visible. Is that what you are all seeing or is it just me? Beeblbrox (talk) 21:56, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- It's gotta be your browser. I see a standard user talk page, although with some specific formatting. John Carter (talk) 22:01, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Speedy keep normal user talk page, looks fine on Opera 9.2, Firefox 2.0.0.13 and IE7. Looks like the nomination is a misunderstanding because of a technical issue. Beeblbrox, make sure you don't have any accessibility option set to have black background and overriding style sheet, and delete Konqueror/Iceweasel/Safari from your system and install Opera :) --Enric Naval (talk) 22:31, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- nom withdrawn apparently a compatability issue I had never encountered before. Beeblbrox (talk) 23:15, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Removing the deletion template would have been courteous once you discovered your error. My user page strongly indicates that I am a verteran editor with an interest improving Wikipedia rather than a likely creator of something "deliberately engineered to be incomprehensible". Frankly, the whole matter strikes me as rash and impolite. Oh well. -House of Scandal (talk) 23:37, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- I figured someone would close the debate and do just that, I've never closed a debate before but I seem to recall closing a debate you opened yourself is some sort of no-no. Beeblbrox (talk) 23:47, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
