The result of the debate was Keep. If any details can be made available (privately to me or another sysop) deletion can be reconsidered (possibly under CSD). — xaosflux Talk 03:46, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User talk:86.198.190.30
To remove history as requested per OTRS 2006071910006006. -- Jeandré, 2006-08-09t17:43z
- On the face of it, this appears to be a routine talk page for an anonymous user with a history of vandalism. [1] [2] [3] It is possible that this IP is used by both a good contributor and a vandal but the contribution history makes it likely in my mind that this is the same person. If it is a good contributor, the user can avoid seeing the notices on the talk page simply by signing up for an account and logging in. On the other hand, it serves the project well to be able to easily trace the actual vandalism conducted and to see the warnings given to the anon user.
I understand that the contents of OTRS emails are confidential but without more than a bare request - without at least some justification or explanation, I can not support the removal of the vandalism warnings. I recommend that we keep the page. Rossami (talk) 17:25, 10 August 2006 (UTC) - Keep, no need really, revisions are kept as records.--Andeh 18:04, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- Keep Histories should never be interfered with unless there are exceptional reasons.--Runcorn 21:43, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
