  • Keep. This is a userfied userbox, part of a whole spectrum that exist. It used to be at Template:User republican (or something very like it was) and was moved per the German Userbox Solution. -- nae'blis 03:11, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Keep. I agree with the above positions, and although this user stated on Nov. 9th that they've left the project, I see no reason to start deleting their user subpages yet—people do change their mind.   • Strong Keep You have to be kidding me, this is user page information to let other's know who they are dealing with. If we delete this then we have to get rid of a third of all userboxes... religious userboxes, feminist userboxes, environmental userboxes, etc. This is no way promotes "partisan politics." This is simply and identifier of which political party somebody belongs to.Balloonman 21:18, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Keep. Though politics always invites controversy, many userboxes currently in place do just as much to drive personal arguments. I see this as no different than a userbox that states a person's religion, national or ethnic identity, personal cause or other affiliation. -- Kesh 21:33, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
